Hayti Promise Conservation Program
Conservation Corps North Carolina is partnering with the Hayti Promise Community Development Corporation to complete conservation projects in Hayti and along the Fayetteville Street corridor in Durham, NC.

ABOUT
Our projects are centered around protecting the community’s natural resources through projects like street and park beautification, tree planting, invasive species and litter removal, and garden bed installations.
Our goal is to perform outreach to help us understand and prioritize the projects the community wants to complete and engage community members through volunteering and employment to help us complete those projects.

We want to hear from you! Conservation Corps North Carolina is collecting feedback from community members and neighbors to help shape upcoming environmental and beautification projects along the Fayetteville Street Corridor in Durham.

The focus of our program is to start the Hayti Promise Youth Conservation Corps. CCNC will employ a crew of members aged 15-18 over the summer months June, July, and August in 2026 to complete conservation projects throughout the Fayetteville Street Corridor.

During the summer months of June, July and August the Youth Crew will work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
